Horoz is a live personal-guidance marketplace for seekers in Canada and the United States. Horoz does not sell personal data.
Horoz is entertainment and personal insight for adults 18 or older. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice.
What Horoz collects
- Account — name, email, user id, and sign-in (password, Google, or Apple)
- Profile you choose to add — birth details for charts, photos, journal, mood check-ins
- Sessions — chat transcripts and voice or video from live consultations you join (Daily.co carries the call)
- Wallet — top-ups, session spend, and purchase history (Google Play on Android packs and memberships; Stripe on the website)
- Approximate location — country and region for tax, not live GPS
- Device — push tokens and crash or diagnostic logs
- Shop — cart, orders, and a shipping address if you buy a product
- Consultants — KYC documents (id, certificates, tax details) for review and payouts
How Horoz uses it
To run your account, match you with consultants, bill sessions, process shop orders, send reminders, generate charts and guide content you request, and meet tax and safety rules.
What Horoz shares
Horoz does not sell your data. Horoz shares only what a vendor needs to run a feature:
- Google Play — Android wallet packs and memberships when Play Billing is on
- Stripe — website payments, tax, and consultant payouts
- Daily.co — live audio and video for rooms and calls
- Email provider — account and support mail
- A consultant fulfilling a shop order — the shipping name, address, and phone you typed
Data is encrypted in transit.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your Horoz account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or follow horoz.io/legal/delete-account. You can also email privacy@horoz.app. Horoz processes email deletion requests within 30 days.
After deletion Horoz removes your profile, birth details, journal, chats, shop orders, and unused wallet credit. Payment records are anonymised and kept up to 7 years for Canadian tax law. Reviews stay as “Deleted user”.
Android wallet packs and memberships are billed through Google Play. The website uses Stripe for wallet top-ups, shop orders, and consultant payouts. Horoz does not collect full card numbers in the app.
