How to request deletion
Use either method. Both permanently close your Horoz account.
- In the Horoz app (fastest) Open Horoz and sign in. Go to Profile, tap Delete account, review what will be removed, type DELETE, and confirm. If Horoz shows upcoming appointments, cancel those first, then try again.
- By email Write to privacy@horoz.app from the email address on your Horoz account. Use the subject “Delete my Horoz account” and include the name shown in the app. Horoz processes email requests within 30 days.
Deleting your Horoz account cannot be undone. Unused wallet credit is forfeited and is not paid out as cash.
Data Horoz deletes
When deletion finishes, Horoz removes:
- Your profile, name, email, and sign-in (password, Google, or Apple)
- Birth details and saved charts
- Journal entries, moods, and favourites
- Chat, consultation messages, and session recordings Horoz stored
- Shop cart and product order records
- Notifications and device push tokens
- Unused wallet credit (forfeited)
- If you are a consultant: your advisor profile, shop listings, live rooms, and KYC files Horoz held for review
Data Horoz keeps, and for how long
- Payment and payout records — Horoz removes your name and user id, then keeps the anonymised transaction for Canadian tax and accounting law. Typical retention is 6 years after the end of the tax year (up to 7 years).
- Reviews you left — the text stays so other seekers still see it. Your name is replaced with “Deleted user”.
- Legal or safety holds — if a dispute, chargeback, or safety investigation is open, Horoz may keep the related records until that matter closes, then apply the same deletion rules.
- Stripe — card and payout processor records may also be kept by Stripe under its own legal duties. Horoz cannot delete those copies on your behalf beyond what Stripe allows.
